Our biggest TMC seeks a National Sales Manager and the incumbent of this position is responsible for managing the National New Business Development (NBD) sales teams (both Western Cape as well as Inland) by determining sales targets and ensuring that those targets are met efficiently and effectively.

General Details
Interact with potential clients, understand their needs and assist in overall strategy to bring in new clients
Adhere to the company policy and procedures at all times
Ability to get feedback from new business clients and build new relationships with potential new clients
Develop a better communication strategies with clients internally and externally
Set up sales targets and have a detail and concise strategy to achieve them
Achieve budgeted targets and market share
Ability to develop an monitor a well structured competitive strategy
Provide inputs, creative solutions and ideas to add on the profitability of the business
Accountable for the department budgets by ensuring that it is not exceeded
To assist and oversee the financials of the team at all given times
Monitor the team’s monthly performance
Adherence of sound labour legislations principles
Ensure staff is aware of code of conduct and company policies
Ensure Payroll and HC receive the necessary forms for the staff members personal files, deadlines to be met
Identify the team’s training and development needs( Skill Up and PDP plans)
Ensure that the staff appraisal and performance management are driven and completed accurately
Ensure effective communication with the team at all times
Provide support by mentoring and guiding were necessary
