Thompsons Holidays are looking for a reliable, efficient, service driven and experienced fares and ticketing consutant to handle the processing of air tickets and to also be available to assist Reservations Consultants with air fare queries and calculations

Required Qualifications

Qualification:
• Travel and Tourism Certificate and advantage
• Minimum 4 years ticketing experience
• Fares and Ticketing Certificate (essential)
• Amadeus Certificate with excellent practical ticketing experience
• Competent in reservations, ticketing , queues and fares including IT air fares
• Extensive Product and Geographical Knowledge
• Practical experience in using MS Office Applications - Outlook, Office, Excel
• Understanding of basic accounting principles as well as calculations of prices including – nett, gross nett, mark-up etc.
• High accuracy and concentration, focusing on detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff)
• Ability to effectively manage time and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong Administrative Skills
• Results orientated
• Strong organisational abilities
• Must be a team player
• Able to work outside of normal working hours
