Job Description

TMC seeks an incumbent to be responsible for managing KZN and East Coast branches . Must be prepared to travel extensively if based in JNB...as will be responsible for KZN & EC Regions and must be able to lead, manage and motivate the staff. The individual must be dedicated towards achieving highest profitability results, 100% staff & customer satisfaction. Incumbent is expected to understand and expand on current operational and clients structures and is responsible for client satisfaction and retention. .

Required Qualifications

Qualification:
• 7 years’ experience in a similar management role
• Indepth knowledge of products, services and solutions in the Travel and Expense Management arena
• Sound understanding of operations in a TMC
• Understanding of the governing legislation
• Basic understanding of pricing models in the market place Excellent understanding of competition in Travel and Expense management arena globally

General Details

OPERATIONS
• Implementation of operational and company policies and procedures nationally
• Ensure 100% compliance of staff to the Policies and procedures
• Ensure that all staff are well informed in all relevant aspects of the business
• Drive the company’s Online strategy
• Advisory Services – ensure your staff achieve targeted revenue set for you r department
• Actively contribute to the review and implementation of the business plan and ongoing strategies for the region
• Brand Building – to ensure that a significant contribution of brand building both internally and externally (networking and building our footprint)

BUDGETS
• Responsible for the regions profit and loss
• Participate in the budget process, producing an annual


CRM
• Develop and implement client centric strategy to meet profit goals within the regions
• Grow preferred partner support
• Build and maintain relationships with preferred partners
• Building and maintaining multi-level relationships
• Handle retender process alongside the New Business team
• Ensure Client Retention of existing clients

FINANCE / REPORTING
• Manage debtors
• Monthly finance reports to GM
• Oversee finance team
• PNL for the regions
• Ensure costs are maintained and debtors collected
• Oversee day-to-day financial management


HR FUNCTION
• Ensure new staff are inducted
• Conduct and monitor staff bi-annual Measure-Up appraisals
• Empower staff through development plans i.e. Ensure completion of PDP for poor performance and Skill Up plans for others
• Assistance with recruitment, selection and appointments of candidates for KZN and EC
• Ensure staff are aware of code of conduct and company policies
• Knowledge of staff’s Job descriptions and ensuring they are adhered to
• Provide leadership and management of the team
• Facilitate team work and team development
• Drive cost reduction within the team
• Coach, mentor and provide guidance to staff where necessary
• Provides a positive leadership role model for all employees; in a manner consistent with TTS’s vision and Step-Up values

CHALLENGES
• Highly competitive Travel and Expense Management market, with aggressive financials being offered by competition
• Fast changing industry, profitability under threat unless partnership model is understood by customer
• Highly complex customer structures, the company’s solutions, need to be the leading edge response to their requirements to protect the business
• Ability to travel frequently to other regions
