Pretoria & Free State Region
• Promote products and chase sales daily;
• Present brand presentations to the trade as well as consumers at organized events;
• 6 – 10 Sales Calls per day as per Sales Cycle and Sales Plan;
• Log your above sales calls daily into Sales force;
• Distribute brochures, specials & newsletters daily and when necessary;
• Update consultants on changes/happenings and new info as and when necessary;
• Ongoing training and presentations with agents;
• To grow existing business daily;
• Search for new business and opportunities within the Industry;
• Turn non active agents into active agents;
• Source new Group business constantly;
• Cold calling on new agents and potential business weekly;
• Maintain agency record sheets & data base weekly;
• Weekly Sales Plans and Reports;
• Brochure distribution, ensure all agencies have sufficient brochures, relevant flyers and promotional material daily;
• Attend and plan consumer evenings and events as well as side walk sales, agency promotions and industry functions when necessary. These events will often be scheduled after standard working hours, which is to be expected;
• Attend in house training and increase product knowledge when necessary;
• Market Intelligence feedback regarding other operators, consumers, advertising, launches and any relevant information weekly;
• Monitoring and tracking of one’s own Sales figures daily and delivering such info to the trade;
• Carry out outlying trips of 3-5 days every 6-8 weeks to service the outlying region assigned to you, and
• You will also be expected to help with any other duties relating to your position from time to time or when required to by your direct Manager or a more senior member of staff.
Availability
1 April but can be negotiated
Salary
• Negotiable salary • 50% contribution to Discovery Medical Aid • 7.4% contribution towards the organization’s Provident Fund
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
• Diploma or Degree in Sales is required;
• A minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience is required as a sales representative;
• The successful applicant must have exceptional presentation skills;
• Experience in the travel industry will be an added advantage, and
• Applicants must have a valid South African driver’s licence
