The Hotel - Lodge is situated two km from the Eastern entrance of the Etosha National Park in the Northern part of Namibia) +- 6 – 7 hours from Windhoek
The Hotel General Manager will assume full operational and profit responsibility for a 106 room 4 star hotel with 1 main bar, 1 restaurant outlet, a pool and snack bar, boma restaurant and Spa. This position will oversee all aspects of hotel management in accordance with the company purpose and procedure.
R600KPA (includes medical, provident fund etc) + live in meals and accommodation

Old school Hotel background…. NO JOB HOPPING CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED
Preferably emanating from 2 schools
A) Hotel School + Commence as Chefs….grow & develop through the ranks or
B) Hotel School qualification, F&B, Rooms Division
• Diploma in Hotel Operations and Management
• Hotel school training is preferred
• Minimum 3 years or more experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of food and beverage departments will be a definite advantage
• Work under pressure and time constraints
• Fluent written and spoken English, (and German will be a distinct advantage)
• Computer literacy essential – proficient in MS Office package & OPERA system

• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, labour law and other statutory regulations
• Ensure the Hotel has an operational and functional Health & Safety committee
• Exceptional leadership skills to lead, manage, motivate, develop and mentor staff, empowering employees to meet the company objectives.
