Job Description

KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Development of, and strategy for:
• Marketing of all brands in HRG Rennies Travel stable
• Internal and external communications
• Social media
• Marketing and communication opportunities
• Brand websites
• Events
• Promotions
• Sponsorships

Key Responsibilities Include but not Limited to:
• Liaison with advertising and communications agencies
• Writing and presenting monthly reports
• Preparation of budget and financial control thereof
• Provide counsel to and advise the Directors and Heads of Divisions
• Manage and oversee the coordinators and specialists in the department
• Determine content strategy for external and internal communications
• Act as company spokesman as and when required as authorized by the MD
• Liaison with BidTravel on marketing and communications
• Liaison with travel suppliers

Required Qualifications

Qualification:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Marketing or Communications Degree
• 8 – 10 years corporate experience
• Knowledge of travel industry beneficial
• High level of English proficiency, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Relevant computer skills
• Driver’s License
• Ability to work extended hours
• Own transport
