Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
First point of contact with clients; Written and telephonic consultation with clients; Amending, suspending or cancelling flight bookings; Constantly maintaining a high quality and error free handling of tasks; Servicing clients via phone and email within a designated time frame; Monitoring bookings that have been placed on the amendments queue; Offering clients options to reservations (e.g. finding alternative flights/dates etc); Working with and applying airline rules on both international and domestic carriers; Updating bookings with changes after confirming with client and sending out updated information; Processing payment ; Close cooperation with suppliers in order to find best solution for clients; Maintaining good and improving existing or initiating new relationships with suppliers; Providing excellent customer service adhering to quality and quantity standards as specified by Travelstart.
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
Technical skill requirements:
Efficient working knowledge of Amadeus (or other GDS); Minimum two years travel industry experience (minimum one year in fares); Thorough understanding of airline rules and regulations; Good writing skills; and Good telephonic manner.
