Job Description
- Talk with clients about events and offer suggestion to ensure their requests can be met
- Offer three quotes to allocated clients
- Ensure accurate issuing of vouchers
- Assist with onsite duties when required
- Negotiate the type and cost of services to be provided, in line with a budget
- Organise the venue and ensure that it is appropriately set up, with regard to seating and décor
- Consult with management to ensure adequate staff members are rostered for duty, and assist with catering and planning the menu, consult with service providers such as entertainers and transport companies
- Co-ordinater staff to ensure the programme of events occurs on time (for example, speeches and the serving of food and refreshments)
- To assist in pre-planning and running of events
- To maintain best administrative practices
- Oversee work by contractors and report on variations to work orders
- Find solutions to any problems that arise concerning services or programmes provided
- Advise senior management on matter requiring their attention and implement their decision
- Follow up with clients to arrange payment and after the event, to evaluate the service provided.
- To assist in facilitating all invoices and internal re-charges following each event

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Working experience as a C&E Co-ordinator
- Matric and Good communication skills
- Own transport and a valid driver’s licence
- Summit/Opera or other PMS experience is an advantage
- Qualification in Hospitality or Tourism Management will be an advantage
