Job Description
Fixed Term Contract from 1 July 2015 – 29 February 2016
- Answer telephones and respond to customer and agent requests;
- Sell all products and book in the reservations system, Tropics;
- Provide customers with product and service information;
- Upsell products and services;
- Transfer customer calls to appropriate staff;
- Identify, research and resolve customer / agent issues;
- Follow up on agents and customer inquiries not immediately resolved;
- Reply to all requests both telephonic and email within 24 hours;
- Recognise, document and alert the Manager of trends in customer / agent calls;
- Recommend process improvements where needed;
- Ensure your product knowledge is continually updated on all brochures;
- Assist your team members where necessary with product knowledge;
- Other duties as assigned within the Reservations Department, and
- Adhere to company ethics standards.

1 July or sooner but will be negotiated

Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- A Diploma or Degree in Travel is required;
- A minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience is required in the retail industry, preferably in a similar role, and
- Experience in Direct Sales will be an advantage as well as knowledge of Amadeus.
