To ensure that all processes of the division are planned, executed, monitored and reported on correctly by way of excellent communication and management of resources, time, deadlines, activities and information through continuous research. The Technical & Technology Systems Operational Administrator (TTSOA) position will act as a “go between” bridging the gaps between current Technology systems e.g. iQCX, iBank, Fraxion, ProCON, the customer and the GDS’, optimizing efficiencies and Technical operations. Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new Technology as needed, and as back up support the Club IT Team. Ensuring the quality and integrity of data held in the systems is kept at optimal levels. The incumbent needs a full understanding of the different processes Club Travel follows. This would include operations, accounting, ticketing, online, scheduling, etc. This is achieved through exceeding the end users expectations thereby creating long term relationships, fostering mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and offering end users the best solution most suited to their needs in a cost effective way by making decisions and interpreting policies and procedures to specific situations using Independent judgment.

• A thorough knowledge of operating systems, networking, hardware and software.
• A GDS background is beneficial.
• Minimum A+ and 2 years working experience.
• Knowledge of CMS Websites (Content Management Systems e.g. Wordpress and Joomla) an advantage.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
• A clear understanding of FTP (File Transfer Protocol) applications and functions
• Basic SQL (Structured Queried Language) & SQL databases (advantageous)
• XML advantageous
• Ability to excel under pressure with excellent organisational skills
• The ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• An awareness of health and safety.
