KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Uncover and understand the needs of the leisure traveller as well as his/her significant others who may be joining the traveller on the trip.
Ensure that all bookings are facilitated according to the traveller’s needs, requirements and budget.
Ensure that the relationship with the traveller is maintained so as to generate repeat business.
Ensure that sound relationships with leisure-specific suppliers and partners are maintained and nurtured (suppliers include Forex; BidVest Bank, HRG, car hire companies, airlines, accommodation properties, tour operators).
Ensure that information and documentation provided to admin and Finance is of an acceptable and standardised quality.
Contribute towards the effective functioning of the team via:
Supporting and assisting in the development of new leisure consultants and more junior leisure staff.
Attending and contributing towards staff meetings.
Sharing of knowledge with colleagues (incl. learnings from educationals, training opportunities, specific customer- and supplier-related incidents; product knowledge)
Live the organisation’s values and display behaviour in accordance with the service non-negotiables.
CUSTOMER INTIMACY/SATISFACTION
Customer enquiries
Ensure that enquiries are actioned and resolved to the clients’ satisfaction.
Customer service delivery
Accept accountability for the leisure travel solution/experience provided to the client. Ensure that all travel bookings are facilitated according to process standards, professionalism and client needs
Service the client according to the RT service non-negotiables.
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Adherence to internal policies/processes
Ensure that all standardised processes are adhered to.
Quality standards
Ensure that information and documentation provided to admin and Finance is of
an acceptable quality standard.

Qualification:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Matric
Diploma in Travel and Tourism or relevant equivalent courses or experience.
