Job Description
- Responsible for the running of the Uniworld brand as well as growth;
- Create a marketing plan with spend and SWOT analysis;
- Effective advertising and promotion of all Uniworld products;
- Conduct market research;
- Effective communication on updates to consortium partners, trade and in house;
- Monitor and ensure optimum process efficiency in the brand;
- Build relationships with customers;
- Creating new contacts for marketing opportunities;
- Continuous monitoring of web enquiries and updating the website;
- Handling all brochure requests;
- Ensure implementation of training the sales and reservations teams on the Uniworld product and processes;
- Meeting monthly sales targets;
- Attending consortia conferences and functions;
- Planning and implementing various Uniworld launches;
- Ensure that the brand’s profitability and growth targets are met;
- Compilations of the budget and monitoring of performance against the budget and the monitoring of expenses;
- Managing of management accounts in terms of revenue vs profitability, monthly; costs vs budget and passenger numbers vs gross income;
- Submitting regular management reports;
- Sourcing new channels of distribution to increase year on year sales;
- Monitoring of Sales and comparisons year on year;
- Strategize to increase Trade Partner support;
- Training strategies to increase product awareness;
- Work with the Public Relations officer to ensure editorial and PR issues being communicated regularly to travel journalists, both in and outside of the trade;
- Strategy to ensure that networking is effective through increased exposure to new business opportunities, opportunities to build business relationships and promote the brand;
- Other duties as assigned.

* Negotiable salary * 50% contribution to Discovery Medical Aid * 7.4% contribution towards the organization’s Provident Fund
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing or Brand Management is required;
- A minimum of 5 - 7 years’ experience in marketing and brand management is required, and
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the travel industry.
