• Assisting with loading fares into internal fares system • Assisting with marketing fares for various promotional requirements • Assisting with negotiation of fares contracts and override deals • Upgrade and re-routing requests • Summarising logged problem/fare requests for monthly stats • Specialised routing requests • Fare problem • Testing of various contracts in the 4 x GDS Systems • Updating consultants of contracts/specials • Assist in building and fostering mutually beneficial relationships • Ensure that positive image is maintained at all times • Assist in building and maintaining a professional relationship and effective communication with all departments • Remain flexible to the wider business needs of the company by rendering assistance for ad hoc projects and duties as required.
Qualification:
• Exceptional Product knowledge • Well-developed problem solving skills and negotiating skills • Ability to excel under pressure • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise • Extensive fares knowledge: Upgrades/re-routings/air passes/ Round the World/Triangular fares • Min 5 years Travel experience • Amadeus/Galileo and World Span • Ability to multi task and work under pressure
