Job Description
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• General HR administration and communication
• Advertise positions internally and externally: Place recruitment advertisements on various websites
• Co-ordinate the employee referral program and any internal and customer referral program payments and incentives
• Maintain the budget spread sheet for recruitment advertising
• Administering all stages of the recruitment process
• Update the recruitment tracker ensuring that it is always an accurate reflection of the status of any applicant
• Conduct reference checks as required by recruiting manager
• Ensure all applicants are advised of the interview outcome and all associated documentation and records for both successful and unsuccessful candidates are completed and received and registered
• Co-ordination of signed contracts and creation of new personnel files for all new starters
• Updating of staff personal information on all systems including VIP and ESS
• Administrating the new starter process beginning to end
• New starters biographies are received and communicated to the new team by email and the business
• Compiling and maintaining an on-going applicant database for current and future reference and use in analysing recruitment trends, salary benchmarking etc.
• Pre-induction onboarding is distributed once the signed contract is received
• Keeping track of probation periods and alerting the line managers prior to probation periods ending and tracking receipt of probation appraisals
• Co-ordinating the exit interview process including the survey and telephone interviews by the HR officer and Organisation Development Manager and any letters of service
• Co-ordinating company employee announcements for the ceo i.e. Birthdays, Employment Anniversaries
• Ensure staff travel offers are loaded into Updates and communicated

Qualification:
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Microsoft office packages to intermediate level
• Administration at a intermediate to senior level (preferably in HR field)
• Matric
• VIP – ESS system or similar
• 3 years plus work experience
• Excellent references

General Details
Pentravel are looking to employ a well spoken, energetic and hardworking HR Administartor to cover maternity leave for a period of 5-6 months commencing 01 June, 2013. Based at Chiappini Square in the City Bowl this role will be responsible for the effective administration of the human resources function.
