CUSTOMERS
Excellent customer service: Completely handle all aspects of domestic, regional and international travel reservations.
Leisure reservations for VIP family members.
Priority handling of reservations and requests ensuring quality control.
Arrange additional concierge services where clients require such services.
Client Travel Queries: Receive and resolve travel queries from clients, e.g. provide assistance to the client in the event that they are stranded, missed the flight, etc.
Customer service delivery: Ensure strict adherence to the customer's travel policy and contractual supplier agreements
Ensure client information is kept up to date, accurate and complete.
Responsible for accuracy and completeness of customer profile information
BUSINESS PROCESSES
Adherence to relevant
business processes: VISA and Passport applications
Issue the travel documents, i.e. car hire, hotel and airline vouchers to the client as per the client’s preferred method and ensure timeous and accurate delivery.
Notification of VIP status to suppliers.
Personal itinerary planning for business and leisure travel.
Pre-seating and special meal requests, involving personal calls to airline.
Waitlist clearance. Online Checkins.
FINANCIAL
Revenue maximisation: Provide relevant documentation to back-office support staff (cost centres, trip approval, order number with a copy of the order form)
Ensure maximum utilisation of preferred suppliers. Flag out-of-policy arrangements to Travel Manager
Responsible for accuracy and efficiency in all areas of consulting thus eliminating unnecessary financial loss. Ensure that all quotes are accurate through an advanced understanding of the system
LEARNING & GROWTH
Self development:
Provide input into and agree to the implementation training and development according to Personal development plan.
- Read and research information in order to remain abreast with changes within the market. Read travel alerts, relevant travel publications (TNW) and keep abreast of destinations where travellers frequently go.
Required Qualifications
Qualification:
Grade 12
8 years experience in the related field
Galileo
Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
