Job Description

  • Responsible for providing travel services for the Leisure clients
  • Handling any deviation travel requests, focusing on client's requests and requirements. This is inclusive of air, hotels, packages, car hire and any travel related services.
  • Also responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service to clients and corporate referral

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years as Senior Travel Consultant (Corporate or Leisure) Matric Relevant travel qualifications Fare and ticketing basic course Amadeus – full course

General Details

  • Ensure that all relevant details are obtained from clients
  • Create all the necessary entries in Amadeus avoiding any fictitious information
  • Process client requests by conducting all required reservations Build relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
  • Book air travel with various airlines bearing in mind our company’s relationship with preferred carriers
  • Book car hire using preferred suppliers wherever possible
  • Book hotel accommodation and travel packages, also remembering to use preferred partners
  • Provide clients with information with regard to travel Insurance Manage and control your own queue in Amadeus
  • Arrange collection and delivery of travel documentation
  • Provide clients with travel itineraries
  • Arrange visas on request and provide relevant information
  • Follow-up on e-mail enquiries
  • Prepare and process quote requests
  • Sign on to Dashboard daily to obtain updates
  • Ensure that you update your product knowledge on an ongoing basis so that you maintain good knowledge
  • Accountable for all cash sales from clients
  • Using TDT for ticketing and Vouchers where required
  • Using of Swipe Request Form
  • Using of Invoicing Request Form
  • Obtaining CCCF copies where required
  • To ensure all monies are collected
  • Accountable for all ADM’s and errors – must work accurately at all times Using operator online payment gateways to secure reservations where possible
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures at all times i.e. pre-seating clients, meals requests, before and after service etc.
