Job Description

Imagine Cruising have an exciting opportunity for talented sales individual to join us as a Cruise and Holliday Sales Advisor

Established in Cape Town in 2013, Imagine Cruising have over 40 people in our Cape Town office.
As a growing business we also have offices in UK and Dubai and continue grow.  Due to continued expansion we now require new talented staff.

Job Purpose
  • To service inbound sales calls, understand the customers’ needs and offer expert cruise and holiday solutions.  
Typical activities
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via telephone calls & listening to customer requirements. Negotiating the terms of the holiday and closing the sales;
  • Challenging objections, cross sell if necessary;
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets; Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations;
  • Produce accurate admin work to complete booking process.

Salary

10,000 per month expected basic (Can earn much more through commission when fully trained) + Travel Benefits

Required Qualifications

Skill set required
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook,
  • Reliable, tolerant, and determined.
  • Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability.
  • Able to get on with others and be a team-player.
  • Able to work extended hours on occasions when required
  • Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, Internet and email.
  • Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations
  • Must be an excellent telephone communicator
  • Travel knowledge a benefit but not essential

General Details

Salary – 10,000 per month expected basic (Can earn much more through commission when fully trained) + Travel Benefits

Working Hours - Full Time – Permanent.  Role includes weekend and evening working on a rota basis

The role may require you to travel overseas, you must be in a position to travel when required
