Job Description

Hours of Work - Monday to Friday 08h00 to 17h00 - No weekends

Responsibilities/duties
  • Diagnose the clients specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services
  • Organise travels, both domestic & international,  from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc
  • Supply travellers with pertinent information and useful travel holiday information
  • Attend training to maintain familiarity with tourism trends
  • Create and update electronic records of clients
  • Maintain relationships with key clients
  • Domestic & International Fares & Ticketing
  • Domestic & International Re-issues

Availability

To Start 1st Oct or middle October (as soon as possible)

Salary

R12 000.00

Required Qualifications

Proven working experience as a travel consultant
Excellent knowledge of the GDS – Amadeus System only – don’t want Galileo candidates
  • Minimum 2 years experience with Amadeus & International ticketing
  • Fares & Ticketing COTAC 1 & 2
  • Travel & Tourism Diploma
  • Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
  • Demonstrable ability to handle crises
  • Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international/business/holidays/groups/individuals)
