Job Description

 

To competently handle all aspects of Domestic, Regional and International travel and to manage the day-to-day aspects of Business Unit.

 

  • Manage client’s expectations and deliverables.

  • Ensure excellent customer contact and service

  • Ensure excellent staff knowledge, interaction and team work

  • Ensure operational excellence on all travel reservations

  • Ensure good financial management

  • Ensure all SLA’s are met and adhered to

  • Ensure complaints are managed and responded to within SLA

  • Ensure effective procedures are maintained and/or introduced

Required Qualifications

  • Require a minimum of 10 years travel experience and thorough knowledge of international reservations and ticketing.

  • International/regional/domestic 

  • Excellent knowledge on travel destinations

  • BidTravel preferred suppliers product knowledge

  • Galileo

  • MS Word, Excel and E-Mail

  • Fares knowledge

  • Corporate Fares knowledge

  • Customer care principles

  • Basic accounting principles / administration

  • Previous experience leading a team would be an advantage
