Job Description

The incumbent of this role must effectively act as a quality medium of ensuring allocation of booking requests are filtered to travel consultants and adhoc reports when required. The logistics person will also assist with the clearing of queues, monitors and finance queries for the Travelit hub as long as assist with any ad hoc requests. Working hours from 09:30 to 18:00

Required Qualifications

  • Matric Qualification

  • Travel DiplomaMinimum 2 years’ experience in the travel industry

  • Beginners and intermediate fares course

  • Galileo/ Amadeus

  • Quicktrav/ SAM

  • TravelIT System

  • Ticket reissue course

  • Ticketing course

  • Business with charm and savvy (Excel External Applicants)

  • Customer service course

  • Sound geographical knowledge

  • Sound visa knowledge

  • SAM and AGM course

General Details

  • Ability to work on the Galileo/Amadeus GDS

  • Ability to work on the TravelIT online reservations system.

  • Ability to issue full domestic and international reservations including hotel, car, air, transfer, B&B etc.

  • Ability to accurately complete all reissues

  • Ability to complete all refunds accurately

  • Ensure corporate fares are utilizedLimited QC rejection

  • Ability to accurately conclude multi-sector reservationsFull alignment to the TTS Standard Operating Procedures

  • Full understanding of the SOP  manual including the Travelit queues and monitors processAlignment to all TTS polices/procedures found on Dashboard

  • Fully conversant with the paperless procedure

  • Ensure Queues and Monitors are checked as per SOP

  • Email distribution among the team

  • Prepayment assistance

  • Finance query assistance

  • Navigational support assistance
