Direct Reservations Consultant (Permanent) Gauteng- Rosebank -Retail

Job Description

  • Attend to all the direct consumer enquiries in order to generate new business and represent the company in a professional manner;
  • Generate new business by following up on all emails and leads;
  • Answer telephones, and respond to direct customer requests for all TTC brands;
  • Ensure product knowledge is continually updated on all brochures and product updates for all TTC brands;
  • Upsell products and services;
  • Offer TIC Travel Insurance on all bookings;
  • Recognise, document and alert Manager of trends in customer calls;
  • Assist team members where necessary with product knowledge and achieving targets, and
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned
SPECIAL NOTE
The successful candidates must be able to work on Saturdays based on a roster system

Required Qualifications

  • Unless the applicant can demonstrate that he/she has gained the necessary competencies through experience, a Diploma or Degree in Travel is required; 
  • A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in direct consumer sales and the travel industry is required, and  
  • Experience in Salesforce and Amadeus will be an added advantage.
