Job Description

Delta Air Lines is looking for a Senior Sales Executive based in Johannesburg. 
  • Ensure all targets are achieved or exceeded
  • Maintain and develop relations with customer base
  • Planning and preparation and execution of all sales calls
  • Have full understanding and knowledge of portfolio and market trends and ability to report on it  
  • Manage and develop existing business 
  • Develop and Grow New Business portfolio
  • Develop and submit comprehensive proposals based on assessed needs of potential clients
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasts
  • Analyzing  all aspects of portfolio & new business in order to drive and develop portfolio
  • Build strong relations within portfolio
  • Lead all contract negotiations within portfolio                                                              
  • Participate in all sales & marketing events

Required Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of airline sales and customer service
  • Proven track record of sales and interpersonal ability and exhibit excellent initiative and commitment to achieve
  • Diploma in travel and tourism
  • Minimum 5 years qualitative sales background within the airline /travel industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong computing and presentation skills, with sound knowledge of airline business
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Talent for effectively interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
