Job Description

  • Responsible for providing travel services to both leisure and corporate clients.
  • Leading a small team, while working closely with back office.
  • Ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.
  • Report to owner on a regular basis.
  • Business development acumen. 
  • Discretion and awareness of confidentiality. 
  • Capability to delegate, motivate and work in a team. 
  • The ability to self-manage and self-motivate.
  • Travel consulting experience an advantage in the retail sector.
  • Quicktrav proficient. 
  • A clear understanding of the full BSP function. 
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Presentation skills. 
  • Ability to inspire confidence and develop a rapport with staff and clients. 
  • Ability to excel under pressure. 
  • Outgoing and approachable with excellent customer service and inter-personal skills. 
  • Mature attitude. 
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise. 
  • Analytical problem solver. 
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English. 
  • Tender/RFP experience an advantage. 
  • Own car and valid driver’s licence are essential. 
  • Must be able to travel locally.

Required Qualifications

  • Matric
  • FULL working knowledge and a minimum of 6 years’ experience on Amadeus
  • Knowledge of QuickTrav, TMA will be to your advantage.

  • Travel Qualification Certificate and Amadeus
  • 6 years+ in a Retail Travel Agency environment
  • Full knowledge of Fares and Ticketing.
  • Ability to accurately complete all reissues and Refunds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Applications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of destinations and visas
  • High accuracy, attention to detail and excellent service delivery
  • Ability to handle volume and pressure
  • Team Player
  • Good leadership skills
  • After hours emergency work expected
