Travel Consultant (Permanent) Western Cape- Gardens, Cape Town -Retail

Job Description

  • Increase sales and revenue on a daily basis through telephonic and email requests
  • Converting e-mail requests and holiday package requests into sales and revenue.
  • Responsible for offering and selling additional Travelstart products and 3rd Party products with every booking
  • Accurate completion of all new bookings, invoicing, amended bookings and all other administrative responsibilities within expected timeframe.
  • Respond to all relevant inbound and outbound calls as required.
  • Respond and action all relevant email correspondence with customers within time requirement.
  • Strive to deliver  a high standard of customer service and work output
  • Assisting, as  a team, to implement "best practise" policies and procedures
  • Ensure all Sales targets set are reached to ensure sales and revenue while minimising errors and losses
  • Professional written and verbal communication is expected at all times between consultant/client and consultant/consultant
  • All turn-around times are strictly adhered to for quotes
  • Same day follow up is expected on all bookings.
  • Extra’s such as accommodation, car hire and Travelstart products are offered on every booking
  • All information pertaining to a booking and repeated back to the client verbally at the time of booking to avoid errors
  • If you answer a call and a particular consultant is not available I expect that you offer to assist the client

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in the sales industry with proven KPIs
  • At least 2 years in the travel industry
  • Amadeus
