Job Description

Customer Service Agent: Operations, Reservations & Ticketing

Based at Cape Town International Airport
  • Meeting with all airport stakeholders
  • Customer Relations
  • Knowledge & experience in ticket issuing, re-issues, Last Minute Upgrades, Excess Baggage, Exit Seats & EMD's
  • Travel Trade Support (telephone reservations)
  • Ground handling Liaison and actions
  • Liaise with Airport Authorities and Government Authorities to ensure Air Mauritius operations are compliant and in line with local laws and legislation.
  • Complete all pre- & post departure documentation, reporting and statistical data

Required Qualifications

  • Matriculation – Grade 12
  • Minimum 3 years' airline experience including dispatch, load control & operations
  • Tertiary Education required
  • Supervisory experience an advantage
  • Ability to operate independently within the guidelines stipulated in the Air Mauritius GOM – Ground Operation Manual.
  • Understanding & knowledge of:
    - Weight & Balance
    - Airside Safety Awareness
    - Ground Operations
    - Understanding of CAA, ICAO, IATA & ACSS guidelines
  • Reservations, Ticketing and Amadeus knowledge compulsory
  • Computer/IT Skills, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel, Power Point and Word)
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and a command of the English Language
  • French an advantage
