Job Description

  • Research, quote and confirm all aspects of domestic, regional and international travel bookings for our Groups and leisure department.
  • Developing programs for Incentives and common interest groups
  • Presentations of programs  to clients
  • Assisting with Conferences, Incentive and group bookings.
  • Sourcing of ideas and products, providing and following up on quotations for corporate, leisure and Group clients.
  • Social Media marketing for advertising groups
  • Networking and marketing of group programs
  • Provide visa information and assist with process of obtaining visas, travel insurance and foreign exchange
  • Updating of customer profiles in Galileo and on our CRM system
  • Administrating, Invoicing and issuing of travel documents and vouchers and all travel services paid.
  • Escort groups and conferences when required

Market Related & Target opportunity for incremental earnings

Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12 with a Travel and Tourism Diploma or similar Travel qualification
  • Good computer skills especially with Powerpoint & Excel.
  • Experience with Social Media marketing
  • Knowledge of Desk Top Programs an advantage
  • Qualification and in - depth working knowledge of the Galileo GDS system/Fares and ticketing
  • Minimum 3 -5 years of International Travel Consulting experience preferably with groups experience

  • Sound working knowledge of the Quicktrav mid office system for invoicing and vouchers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for presentations to clients
  • Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure
  • High Standard of service levels provided to clients
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Personal Travel experience will be an added advantage
  • Own transport will be an added advantage
