PRIORITY ESCAPES
Fourways based agency seeks a special dynamic individual for the very special position of Rates & Product Manager  - Maldives. The correct candidate should present a firm understanding when it comes to hotel contract rates & present experience in working in similar positions, loading rates to systems and managing the relationship with resorts directly. 
 
Duties Include
  • Accompanying FAM trips & Rate negotiation trips to Maldives
  • Rate Management, discussions, analysis and interpretation
  • Identifying Rate opportunities for marketing 
  • Loading contracted rates to bookings systems
  • Managing and updating rates to booking systems
  • Loading stop sell notifications, withdrawal of rates and other updates. 
  • Basic update to website including ROE updates. 
  • Liaising with the marketing team and providing periodical updates where required.
  • Reporting to management on success of campaigns and products

Salary

R20,000 CTC Negotiable

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years experience in the travel industry 
  • Exposure to leisure industry is preferred
  • Firm command of English and Afrikaans languages
  • Full knowledge around working with hotel contracts, special offers
  • Confident in rate calculation and double checking system rates
  • Ability to work individually or part of a team
