Inbound Travel Consultant (Contract) Kwazulu Natal- Westville -Wholesale

Job Description

  • Consult and advise agents on product and services in Southern Africa.
  • Interpret client’s specifications and requirements and suggest suitable travel itineraries and costings. 
  • Coordinate and project manage the logistics around booking of accommodation, transfers, tours, excursions, flights and car hire. 
  • Sell profitably and manage the travel file accurately.    
  •  Issue itineraries and tickets for the final travel arrangements
  • Accurately invoice bookings within prescribed deadlines to ensure clients client statements are correct.
  • Keep up to date with product and geographical knowledge.
  • Have a clear understanding of department operating procedures and how to use the company systems

Required Qualifications

MINIMUM CRITERIA

  • Matric
  • Relevant qualification in Travel and Tourism would be an advantage
  • Computer skills:  Outlook, Tourplan would be an advantage 
  • Previous consulting experience in an Inbound Tour Operator
  • Availability to travel on Educationals at least once a year
  • Good geographical knowledge of Southern Africa
