Do you want to spearhead sales & business development for a collection of independent hotels and resorts in the Western Cape?

Singer Group has an immediate vacancy for a full-time hotel sales executive, based in Cape Town
to join our marketing and sales team.

Required Qualifications

Minimum requirements include:

  • A suitable hospitality qualification or a qualification in sales & marketing
  • Three years’ experience in a hotel sales role
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Warm, welcoming and unreserved personality
  • Understanding of clients’ needs in the industry and knowledge to fulfil it
  • Multitasking and the ability to work on various brands
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Driver’s licence and own vehicle
  • Three contactable references

General Details

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • To assist our GMs in achieving budgeted revenues
  • To ensure that key accounts are managed
  • To host site inspections, workshops, blitzes and fam trips
  • To compile and implement sales and marketing strategies
  • To host weekly and monthly sales meetings
  • To compile monthly measurability statistics
  • To drive communication between all stakeholders: GMs, reservations, marketing, revenue, clients and guests
  • To stay abreast on trends and market related issues
  • To connect and collaborate with business networks and -chambers, as well as tourism and travel associations
