Job Description

The purpose of Sabre Afterhours Travel consultant is to provide support and service to customers' needs when in an emergency or while travelling in destination. This person would be liaising directly with customers, airlines and preferred partners, and would need to be fully customer-centric, and offer exceptional delivery in customer service through high attention to detail and travel knowledge. 

This person will need to have a great understanding of airfares and land and be able to manage the end-to-end travel needs through an emergency and / or crisis.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ year of retail travel and/or corporate travel agency/airline experience - only

    Experienced travel consultants will be considered

  • Sabre or Amadeus GDS experience is essential
  • Airfare knowledge - Ability to interpret and calculate fares, change fees and airline rulings.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Able to work autonomously.
  • Offers knowledge to customers to add value and credibility.
  • Process and system driven.

Flexibility to work a rotational roster based on 24/7, 365 Days
