Job Description

  • Ensuring all air tickets are issued accurately and efficiently
  • Fare recalculations and ticket reissues due to time changes or passenger action
  • Processing ticketing on group bookings
  • Manage schedule changes and problem solving
  • Providing assistance and advice to our Counsellors over telephone or via email
  • Queue management – understanding ticketing time limits & reading vendor remarks

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of fares and ticketing including published, net and ITX fare contracts.
  • Experience of making and amending reservations.
  • Experience of working in a Corporate & Leisure travel
  • Strong working knowledge of GDS (Smartpoint).
  • Patience and willingness to help others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good problem solver and ability to work under pressure
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team but also comfortable working alone
  • Flexibility to working hours if workload requires during peak periods
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Ability to solve flight/ticket related problems efficiently

Location

Cape Town City Bowl

General Details

Mon - Fri 0830-1700 - office based  except 1 week in every 4 or 5 to cover Out of Hours when it will be working from home  - this means   being available every evening and all weekend and work 0900-1200 on the Saturday
