Job Description

Club Travel has a position available at our offices in Cape Town for an Intermediate Ticketing Consultant within the Travel Industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently issuing and re-issuing air tickets and EMDs on 3 GDS systems: Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre. As well as handling queries via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, logs, etc.). while also being prepared to fulfill ad-hoc. tasks that may be required as per business requirements.

  • Issuing and re-issuing of all air tickets and EMDs via a queue in the GDS.
  • Ensure all necessary checks are completed before a ticket is issued / re-issued.
  • Ensure fare rules are read and clearly understood before re-issuing tickets
  • Ensure that all EFTs are verified before issuing any cash tickets.
  • Ensure all tickets are sent to Quality Control to be checked.
  • Assisting with queries.

Salary

- Attractive package market-related, based on experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of ticketing experience
  • Excellent knowledge of all 3 GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre)
  • Strong international Fares knowledge
  • Knowledge of G-suite and Gmail
  • Have an excellent understanding of airline terms and travel industry knowledge. 
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of the additional language is an advantage.
  • Exemplary customer-oriented approach
  • Possess competent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess effective organizational skills, the ability to complete multiple tasks, and a high volume of work on deadline. 
  • Attention to detail.
