Job Description

Recruiting new business
* Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
* Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
* Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
* Research and build relationships with new clients.
* Plan approaches and pitches.
* Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. * Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
* Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
* Conduct proposal presentations to the prospective client
* Facilitate and manage the overall inception of the business relationship between the new client & TMC
* Management of all necessary documentation and admin
* Identifying possible tenders
* Attend tender briefings
* Preparation and submission of tenders
* MUST achieve sales and revenue targets as set out by the company.
* Communication and Coordination with the Sales and Marketing Team
* Organising, managing and hosting new potential client functions during and after hours
* Arrange promotions, events and outings for potential new clients.
* Host potential clients to functions and overnight excursions.
* Submit weekly reports on a Friday and attend Sales meeting on a Monday.
* Preference given to applicants who are located in the East Rand.

Salary

Salary based on basic and commission and negotiable subject to experience.

Required Qualifications

Travel Industry experience essential
High level of computer literacy
Well Spoken and well groomed
Presenting skills & public speaking
Good business writing skills
Excellent people and networking skills
Proven track record in new business development
Ability to sell
