Job Description

Red Carpet Travel is looking for a Super Hero to join our Dynamic Team!

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
  • Full function of Cashbook including allocation and reconciliation of GL accounts
  • Reconciliation and allocation of company credit cards
  • BSP reconciliation and payments for 3 IATA licenses
  • Full management of ADM function
  • Quality control of all vendor accounts and payments
  • Petty cash reconciliation to GL
  • Full support to Finance Manager  
  • Preparation of management accounts to trial balance
  • Preparation, allocation and reconciliation of all Sundry Creditors.
  • Weekly printing and following up of  Open voucher report 
  • Management of the full commission function ensuring monies owing are received
  • Overall supervision of administration team and functions

Required Qualifications

Minimum requirements
  • 4 years in a booking keeping role in an IATA licensed TMC
  • Matric
  • Fully computer literate with proficiency in Excel
  • Full understanding of BSP
  • Fully proficient in Quicktrav
  • Experience with Papertrail advantageous
Mandatory prerequisites
  • Clear criminal & ITC  check
  • Contactable references at a management level
  • Solid track record
  • Detailed CV with proof of qualification
  • Able to work overtime if necessary
  • A clear understanding of accounting principles
