Job Description

  • Consult and tailor-make FIT packages and holidays for local and international clients
  • Provide expert advice and consultation via e-mail and telephone
  • Make and manage reservations that include include flights, car rentals, transfers, activities, hotel rooms and lodges
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Achieve sales targets and maximise all sales opportunities
  • Manage client issues

Salary

Negotiable salary with sales incentive and performance bonuses

Required Qualifications

  • A proven sales record and  5+ years experience selling FIT packages
  • Excellent knowledge of destinations in South, Southern and/or East Africa
  • Able to learn and work on a reservations system (Travelogic/Tourplan etc.)
  • Strong sales abilities
  • Ability to reach deadlines and deal with high volume enquires
  • Ability to understand and follow supplier terms
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbally)
  • Travel experience throughout South, Southern and/or East Africa
