Job Description

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE/BUSINESS PROCESSES

 

  • General environment

    • Ensure that all facilities within the office environment are operational, providing optimal working conditions for employees.

    • Plan and organise direct activities of facilities portfolio, Lease and 3rd party contacts

    • Procure services, direct maintenance of certain items

    • To oversee, security, air Conditioning, cleaning, electrical, plumbing, parking Access control, Telecommunication, CCTV.

       

  • Reporting

    • Preparation of required reports on facilities and environment

    • Budget planning

    • Reporting on Opex and Capex

  • Procurement

    • Assist with procurement of all hardware and software, sourcing the best supplier and quality products

       

      CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

    • Receive and resolve client requests timeously, ensuring all systems are operational

    • Provide feedback on all requests

    • Ensure that 3rd party vendors adhere to SLA

       

      EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION

  • Self development

    • Research and check on new technology that will benefit the organisation.

       

      FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE

  • Manage own costs and meet revenue targets

  • Make suggestions to ensure that cost centre costs can be managed optimally

Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12 with University acceptance

  • Facilities management certification

  • A+ and N+
  • Required (not-negotiable):

    ·         Building maintenance

     

    Advantageous (nice-to-have):

    ·         Knowledge of telecommunication systems, IP Telephony

    ·         Knowledge of IT infrastructure, Networking(Lan and Wan)

  • ·         Maintenance of general office environment and facilities

    ·         Liaising with 3rd party suppliers

    ·         General support skills

    Advantageous (nice-to-have):

    ·       Experience in networking

    ·       Member of accredited Facilities Management association

    ·         Knowledge of Power solutions
